Editorial Policy: How We Research and Check SharkRoll Guides

The editorial standards behind our SharkRoll guide

Our goal is simple: give UK players a clear, accurate picture of SharkRoll before they sign up, deposit or claim an offer, written for reading on a phone. We are an independent information site, not the casino, so we describe what the casino lists and leave account matters to its own support team.

How we research a page

What we rely on

We start from what SharkRoll itself lists about its games, offers, payments and account tools, and we compare the published details with one another. A figure goes onto our pages only when it holds up under that comparison, and the date of the last check stays attached to the fact set behind each page. Amounts, limits and conditions are read in the casino's own currency before any comparison is made.

What we leave out

Every claim on our pages was checked before it went live. Winnings are never promised, and a figure that cannot be confirmed has no place on a page. Where details disagree and cannot be settled, the point is left out altogether; a gap in the facts stays a gap instead of becoming a guess.

Independence

Some of our links are commercial (affiliate) links. They never decide what we write: an offer is described with its conditions, with or without a commission attached, and a weak point of an offer is named in the same plain words as a strong one. Our editorial team writes for the reader who has not yet deposited, so the questions asked on a phone before a first payment decide which details a guide puts first.

Corrections and what happens next

Readers help us keep our pages right. If something looks wrong:

  • Write to us through our contact form, naming the page and the detail you mean; a screenshot of the line helps when the layout on your phone is the problem.
  • We check the point against what the casino currently lists.
  • If the page is wrong or out of date, we correct it and refresh the date where the page shows one.
  • If the details stand, we keep the page as it is and say why when you ask.
  • Questions about your own account, deposits, withdrawals or bonuses go to the casino's support team, which holds the records.

Writing standards we keep

Every page follows the same house rules:

  • Plain British English, short sentences and specific headings, with tables narrow enough to read on a phone.
  • Amounts written as the casino lists them, with the currency named, so nothing is relabelled or converted without a note.
  • Conditions next to every offer: wagering, minimum deposit and any game restriction we can confirm.
  • A promotion described by its terms, with room for the reader to decide, and an offer set beside the others, so the choice is a comparison.
  • Pages that show a date say when they were last revised, and a fix that touches one fact is carried into every page that uses it.
  • Responsible messaging throughout, with a pointer to our responsible gambling page and to the National Gambling Helpline.
